The e-STEAM@Home Award Scheme is an initiative jointly offered by the HKVU, the CEI and HKUST, with support from the Education Bureau. This self-paced, student-centered learning program allows primary and secondary school students to explore a variety of topics from the comfort of their homes, utilizing HKUST's extensive Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which are specifically recommended for senior primary, junior secondary and senior secondary school students.

Students can engage with multiple topics at different levels, fostering their interest and knowledge in STEM fields. Upon completion of the MOOCs in various subjects, electronic Award Certificates will be issued by HKVU to students from Hong Kong primary and secondary schools.

This scheme is offered free of charge. School teachers can nominate their students using the nomination form provided below. Different awards will be presented to students who complete the required number of courses within a designated period, recognizing their efforts and accomplishments.

This cohort runs from 1 Nov 2024 to 31 Aug 2025. As the courses are self-paced, the assessments are due at the end of course. The award certificates of this Scheme will be issued after the Scheme end for the students who have completed at least 2 of the following courses. This scheme offers the following courses indicated with suggested study levels. You may select any of them according to your interests and abilities.
