The Hong Kong Virtual University (HKVU) Program, formerly a collaborative project funded by UGC's Restructuring and Collaboration Fund, is now officially an education development team within the Center for Education Innovation (CEI) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The HKVU Program aims to foster a collaborative networked virtual campus that connects local tertiary institutions while providing students with a wider range of subject choices and greater flexibility in learning, thereby enhancing educational opportunities for learners throughout Hong Kong.

The HKVU Program continues to emphasize its commitment to learners by delivering a variety of popular learning programs designed to meet diverse educational needs. In response to the evolving educational landscape, we have introduced innovative technology enhancements. The HKMOOC platform provide a comprehensive online learning experience with high capacity, enabling seamless access to a wide array of courses. Additionally, we are excited to offer a GPT-enabled learning experience, enhancing personalized education through intelligent and interactive learning tools.
